Day 1 : Arrival in Bangkok

Arrive at Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport where we will be transferred to our hotel (private transfer), check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Bangkok at Rembrandt Hotel or similar

Day 2 : Bangkok—Chiang Mai— Chiang Rai— Chiang Saen

After breakfast, transfer to Bangkok domestic airport. We will fly from here to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai airport by morning flight, we will be met & greeted by our local representative at the airport and drive through Splendid Mountain scenery and tropical jungle approx. 4 hours to Chiang Saen, former capital of the first Thai Kingdom, situated directly on Mekong River at border between Thailand and Laos. We will visit Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti by climbing 383 steps to top of hill. Also visit Wat Chedi Luang and small museum nearby. Lunch at local restaurantContinue by longtail speedboat upriver on the Mekong toward Golden Triangle where borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet. Day 3 : Chiang Saen — Doi Mae Salong — Mae Sai —Chiang Rai


We will depart from Chiang Saen to visit Lisu Village at Ban Mae Kaotom and continue uphill via Mae Chan to visit Yao and Akha hilltribe village. Proceed to Doi Mae Salong, passing through beautiful mountain scenery. We will take in a stunning view of Thailand, Myanmar and the Mekong Valley. Lunch at Mae Salong Villa in Doi Mae Salong. Depart Doi Mae Salong to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town on the Myanmar border. Walk around local market with opportunity for shopping before returning to Chiang Rai, short stop at fish cave. Day 4 : Chiang Rai—Thatorn—Hmong Hill Tribe Lodge

Leave hotel for boat landing. Board simple long tail motorboats for three-hour journey up Kok River, passing tiny hilltribe villages, bamboo huts and jungle scenery.  Disembark at Ban Pha Tai and continue by bus to visit Ban Lorcha, a Phami Akha hilltribe community center.  This community-based tourism development project promotes sustainable, self-reliant development to improve the quality of life of villagers of this Akha Community, and is a model for tourism in Hilltribe villages.  Lunch at local restaurant

Proceed to Mae Rim via Fang and Chiang Dao. Continue drive to hmong hilltribe lodge.

Dinner followed by presentation of Meo dances.

Day 5 : Hmong Hill Tribe Lodge—Chiang Mai

Drive to elephant camp and watch elephants taking timber in forest. Their strength and strategic teamwork will amaze you. Recommended Option:Take elephant ride into the jungle surroundings at a surcharge. Continue Later drive to  orchid plantation and buffet lunch is served, here we will appreciate the unique beauty of this floral species. Afternoon visit to Handicraft Villages to see manufacture of lacquerware, spinning and weaving of Thai Silk and to watch how paper umbrellas are made. Also visit a well-known Thai wood-carving factory, with possibility of buying Burmese antiques.

Day 6 : Chiang Mai—Bangkok

After breakfast, today visit the oldest temple in Chiang Mai drive through many different parts of the northern capital, passing residential areas, notable foreign establishments, stylish government building, Thapae street; the main street and shopping center and three temples : Wat Chiang Man, oldest oldest temple in Chiang Mai and built by King Mangrai; Phrasingh temple with a 1,500 year-old Buddha image, and Suandok temple wheter the ashes of Chiang Mai’s Royal family are interred before drive up to Doi Suthep mountain to visit Prathat Doi Suthep temple and to enjoy panoramic view of the city from the mountain top.

Drop off at Chang Mai Airport for flight back to Bangkok. Arrive at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, and transfer by private vehicle to the Rembrandt Hotel, Superior room

Day 7 : Bangkok—Kanchanaburi—River Kwai Resotel

Pick up from hotel and depart to Kanchanaburi province (128 km. to the west of Bangkok) After arriving at Kanchanaburi province, visit Thailand–Burma Railway Centre an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand– Burma Railway. The fully air–conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience.

Then visit Allied War Cemetery which is memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place.

Next we visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.

Afterwards we will take a long–tailed boat on River Kwai to River Kwai Resotel.  Check–in and have Lunch upon arrival.

After lunch we will take an exciting boat ride upstream to visit nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village then return to the hotel.

Finally we will have dinner, followed by a 45-minute presentation of Mon Dance and overnight

Day 8 : River Kwai Resotel – Bangkok

We will take an exciting boat ride downstream to Resotel Pier and continue to visit to the Hellfire PassMemorial then have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, take a historic ride on Death Railway Train passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs

We will then Journey back to Bangkok and transfer to our hotel.

Transfer to Bangkok International airport for departure flight home.

Refund Policy

· Your deposit is fully refundable up until the first day of the payment plan. After that all deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

· All payments, after the deposit, are refundable unless your airline tickets has been purchased. If you need to cancel and we have purchased your airline tickets, we will give you your flight information so that you can make changes directly with the airline.

· The trip becomes 100% non-refundable after the final payment date.

· Refunds are processed immediately on our end but can take up to 30 days for you to receive depending on your bank.
